BACKGROUND
I fell in love with New Hampshire after spending childhood summers at Province Lake, visiting Mt. Washington, and swimming the icy-cold Swift River - and my winters skiing New Hampshire's slopes!
Born in Boston, my parents eventually moved my sister and I from Lexington, Mass. to Rhode Island.
I attended Mount Holyoke College and then the University of Rhode Island, where I met my wonderful husband Gary.
We attended grad school at George Mason University and earned Economics Ph.D.'s studying under senior advisors to President Ronald Reagan!
We got a first-hand look at how corrupt Federal sausage is made working at Conservative think-tanks in Washington, D.C.
We traveled the United States teaching at universities and helping students learn the importance of free enterprise and limited government!
Eventually we settled in California with full time research & teaching positions. My husband lost his long battle with Parkinson’s Disease in 2015, and it was then I decided to move back to New Hampshire, a place I’ve always called home.
I live in Kingston on beautiful Country Pond and continue to teach undergraduate classes while serving in local offices and volunteering in our wonderful community.
My hobbies include reading, writing textbooks, target shooting, gardening, caring for my pet birds, and laughing at conservative memes!
